Thought For Today

No Doughnut, chocalate, or Big Mac, will ever make you feel as good as:

Running 2 blocks without getting tired!

A admiring look from a member of the opposite sex!

The pants you wore last year, plummenting to the ground!

Eating a sald or a grilled chicken sandwich, and feeling completly satisfied!

Stick with it buddies, you’ll get there!

I Think I’m Cured!

Ashamed as I am to admit it now, I remember going into McDonalds last year, and eating a big mac, a double cheese burger, a big coke, and 2 large orders of fries AT ONE SITTING.

This morning I walked in there for the first time this year, (just to use the restroom) and promptly had to walk back out.  I gagged and was nearly sick. The smell of the grease was so bad. All this healthy eating has been worth it. Not just losing weight, but being able to gag at the thought of eating fast food. I must be doing something right!!

New Approach

This week I started a new approach to training. After almost 5o lbs lost, I started lifting a little heavier, and am drinking a protein supplement, and take 3 amino acid tabs a day. I saw the tinest bit of muscle growth already today! The downside is I put back a bit on the belly, but I am going to up my pilates and ab routine so I won’t worry to much. Its good to get skinny again, but a man wants a little muscle!

The Last Few Pounds

They just won’t go! This is the first week that I have not lost a pound!  Not stressing though. I went to the Doctor yesterday, and he said I was his top weight loser this year! He checked my cholestoral and triglyerides, and they were 137, and 97 ! (Thats almost as good as it gets.) Those last four pounds will come off. I just know it!
